Kubra KB-8000 Beard Trimmer review
Trimming Performance
To start with performance, Kubra KB-8000 has an average performance. It works fine with smaller comb, trimming is smooth but trimming without comb or zero trimming is not comfortable with this trimmer. Farther, blades are little bit sharp and don't have self sharpening feature as well.
The stainless steel blades heated up after 7 to 8 minutes of continuous use and thereafter slow down its performance.
On this trimmer, you get flexibility to trim on 0.5mm to 20mm with two attachable comb. One thing do note that this trimmer is not good at hair cutting and bigger comb is also difficult to attach. You need to set to 2 to 3mm settings to attach the comb. I will suggest you to explore other options for hair cutting purpose.
Now, overall trimmer is a decent performer, as other trimmer in this price range. Keeping its price in mind, this trimmer has an average performance.
Battery backup and charging
Kubra has done a great job on battery. This 600 mah battery can easily run a month with 3 to 4 times trimming. Throughout my test, I found that it could run around 70 to 85 minutes and it takes around 2 hours for complete charge with USB charging port. I would say it is sufficient for normal users and I am happy with its battery.
Build quality
As far as design is concerned, KB-8000 has plastic body, to be frankly, low grade plastic. Its attachable combs are also made up of plastic and it seems that it can be break very early.
One thing I have noticed that company is marketing this product as ipx6 water Resistance but, on user manual that comes along with the trimmer, clearly mention that do not submerge under water. I don't know which one is true and I haven't tested this trimmer with water. One thing do note that this trimmer has 1 year normal warrenty but you can claim 2 years warranty by registering on website within 10 days of delivery.

Cons
• Low quality plastic body body.
• Attach combs with caution as they can break very easily.
• You may feel irritations on zero trimming.
• Don't cut long hair precisely with bigger comb.
Conclusion
Kubra KB-8000 is a feature reach trimmer with great batting run time and 2 hours fast charging. Although, it has an average performance, other trimmers at this price range has more or less similar performance. Plastic body is matter of carefully handle. If you want a feature reach trimmer under 1 thousand, you can go for it but if you care about performance, I would say check other trimmer like Mi Trimmer or phylips trimmer.
