Mediatek Helio G35 Vs UNISOC T610 comparison

 

UNISOC T60 is the latest smartphone chipset (SoC) from UNISOC. This affordable chipset is only used in Micromax in 2b which was launched on 30th July, this year.

This chipset is belong to Chinese chipset manufacturer UNISOC. Which basically manufacture chipset for entry level or affordable smartphones and IoT devices. And very popular for feature phone companies.

But, for the first time in India, smartphone manufacturer Micromax used its SoC UNISOC T610 in its recently released low budget segment smartphone Micromax In 2b. So, there is a lot of infusions has been created among the people about this chipset and its performance. So, today I will compare it with another affordable smartphone chipset Mediatek Helio G35.

In-depth comparison of Mediatek Helio G35 and UNISOC T610.

Hear, we will start comparison from CPU fabrication process, where both chipset used 12nm technology so they will consume same ammount of power and release almost same ammount of heat during use. But, heating effect in smartphone is not only depends on SoC, its also depends on other factors. So, hear they stands equally.

CPU of Helio G35 is 8x ARM Cortex A53 @2.3GHz and UNISOC T610 have 2xARM Cortex A75 @1.8GHz and 6x ARM Cortex A55 @1.8GHz. Through Helio G35 have higher clock speed but, US T610 have better CPU with 2x high performance core. So, US T610 will perform better than Helio G35.

In case of GPU, Helio G35 have its own home made PowerVR GE8320 @680MHz and US T610 (UNISOC T610) have Mali-G52 MP2 @614. Hear both will perform almost equally but, Helio G35 have slidely edge.

Both smartphones have supports same storage type eMMC 5.1 so, the their read and write speed will be equal. But, US T610 supports maximum 8GB of RAM, whereas Helio G35 have maximum support of 6GB of RAM. So, clearly US T610 have more flexibility with ram.

For connectivity, Both use 4G modem but, US T610 offers CAT-4 (150MBit/s) UL / CAT-7 (300MBits/s) DL and Helio G35 offers CAT-4/CAT-7 UL and CAT-13 for DL. So, Helio G35 offer better internet connectivity.

Camera megapixel support, Helio G35 offers maximum 25MP single or 13MP + 13MP double camera. And US T610 supports maximum 32MP single or 16MP + 8MP double. So, US T610 comes out to be better.

If I talk about antutu score and Geekbench score, then US T610 secure 170,000+ Antutu score, 348 single core, 1076 multi core and Helio G35 stands on 107,000+ Antutu score, 177 single core, 992 multi core in geekbench score. So, from this above number it is very clear that US T610 ( UNISOC T610 ) Is far superior than Mediatek Helio G35 and UNISOC T610 Is comparable with Helio G70.

But, both SoC is good enough and both is definitely worth. But, future of UNISOC's SoC will be brighter if they provide maximum performance and features in menimum price. But, first, they have to gain consumers trust like Qualcomm.
