How to hide photos, videos or other files without any app - 111Gadget

 

As the number of internet users increases, online privacy and security concerns also increases. So, to protect your information, we have found a new method of hiding photos, videos or any other files without installing any third-party apps.

Most of the Smartphone companies offers inbuilt file hiding software, but our method is applicable for any platforms.

In Android phones you just need a file manager app of similar app, just select file, you want to hide select rename option, change the file extension which is written right side of the file name with a dot (.) as, file_name.<file_extention>, ex- for image file extension are .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .gif etc. for video, file extension are like .mp4, .3gp etc. for pdf file- .pdf, for document file- .docx etc. 

To hide your files don't change its extension to extension use to open similar file. For an example, to hide an image with .jpg extension don't change to .png or .gif, change to other extension like .pdf, or .hdh, .wtm etc. Note: Don't edit your encrypted file or convert to other file. That way file may be corrupted.

To open your file or unhide, give the appropriate extension that you have changed during hiding. Then you will get back access of that file.

By this way you hide any file from anyone. But, this is not exactly encryption process, so it is better to use any encryption method. If you want hide, very sensitive, secret information, better to go with apps which uses encryption method. But, our method is faster and easier then using any apps.
